BSoD during installation

Post by Chaz77 »

Installing Track IR 4 on a new rig. Windows XP Pro

Software first. good.

Connect track to a USB port. Ding ding ding, finds new hardware, etc.

Then I proceed to finish install with automatically install software. as it nears the end, BSoD. crash. reset.

I've uninstalled, clear registry, deleted old folder, tried again. BSoD, complete crash, reset. I even tried the registry fix .exe posted, but no luck getting Track IR going.

I got this in my install log.

Ok, disregard. Got it to work after trying a couple of things.

It turns out that a few of my (many) USB ports are not compatible. Found a few that work fine.
