Track IR looses functionality

Hi all, 1st post, fantastic product. I have been using Track IR4 with fs2004 for about a month with no problems. All of a sudden occassionally it looses all functionality and starts jumping around with even the slightest head movement, I THINK I may have pinpointed it to when the aircraft breaks out of clouds like on final approach, break out of the overcast layer, see the runway, look down to check speed or something and bingo it stops working, it may be a coincidence, not sure.
Using fs2004 with active sky v6.5.
Any ideas?

Any stray dots on the view -> Tracking screen?

Happen after a given time period?

I will check that tonight, it may be that I am too far from the screen probably about 30 - 36inches can this cause the problem?

That range is pretty good, idea distance is 2 - 5 feet.......

It think this is a LIGHTING issue.

Your TrackIR is tracking another light source. Block off your window(s) so that you have only moderate lighting and see if that helps. (I have the same issue right now, however I have no way to block the light. http://forum.naturalpoint.com/forum/ubb ... #Post29907)

The behavior is that the it jumps all over the place when he sun shines bright and the green light stays on even when your track clip is not in it's path for tracking. Try it. Test it.
