tracking under Vista

Post by bengo »

Hello,
I'm using a TIR3 with vector expansion and the TrackClipPro on a Vista32 machine.
I've noticed following, when using your latest drivers :
After launching the TIR-software, the status in the left-bottom-corner says : tracking. Selecting the 'Tracking', 'Heads' and 'Gauges' in the 'View'-menu confirms all that. But, as soon as I hit the 'Profiles'-tab the status in the left-bottom-corner starts flickering between 'Tracking' and 'No Data' very fast. Checking the tracking through 'View'-'Heads' only confirms that the tracking is erratic and stuttery. This can be solved by exiting the TIR-software and launching it again. Could you please check and see if this is a reproducable issue ?
Thank you

It isn't anything that I have seen before. When you are looking at the tracking screen, is it losing track of the IR dots?

Hub, or connected directly to the system?

Tried a clean install of the TrackIR software?

It's connected to a hub, but I can't really see that's what's causing the problem, as TrackIR performs flawless, as long as I don't touch the 'Profiles'-tab.
I did the reinstall already.
It's no big deal, I can live with it. Just wanted to report it, in case there were other users experiencing the same thing.
Thanks for looking into it.

Nothing extraordinary. Testing is done directly after Vista start-up.
