Well then with that logic, of all being equal...
How can the introduction of a "wire" as opposed to wireless be a "more convenient way of head tracking"?
Ridiculous.
I say the develper thought they had a better "mouse-trap". They didn't, yet in order to cover their development losses, they marketed it anyways to us "mice".
This whole reasoning is illogical!
Well it works anyways now, just as my Hat clip did.
Ken
Let's see now...A) you can have a wireless clip or B) a wired clip...same functionality.
WHAT WOULD YOU CHOOSE??
Ridiculous indeed!

Re: Game view looks elsewhere than me with TIR Clip Pro
We could have gone with battery power for the TrackClip Pro, but we felt that having the lightest weight device possible was paramount. Also, if we had done gone the battery route, we would have needed a status light to tell you it was "on", then a switch, then replaceable batteries, or a charging system, and then it just got to be more expensive and complex.

Dear Natural Point...
Ya it works now. A little worse than the Vector Clip.
I returned the ProClip today. Cost me another $10.
Thats a total of $25 I threw out all because Natural Point didn't want to explain the exact functionality with this Pro Clip compared to the Vector Clip.
You obviously do not explain this in your advertising to us.
Many people think that this is an improvent over the Vector Clip. It is certainly not, and by your own admition.
So one must know this ahead of time to ask these question before they buy it? Imossible! This is your "loophole" as it were.
Or as we consumers call it, "deceipt in advertising".
And it is ridiculous to tell us that "some people prefer this clip to wearing a cap with the Vector clip on it. That it's a matter of "taste". For another $60 (total cost with tax and shipping), I'll just use the better method thank you. It's wireless, uses no extra ports and I can even use it "without" my headphones when I have guests who want to hear as well. And it's "smoother" and less jerky by far.
I think you know this already.
So there you have it. My opinion.
May the buyer beware here. The Pro Clip is a "clip" alright!
Hey, I am suprised because Natural Point has some great products that I use and love so much. But this one is very strange marketing Vincent. Very Strange indeed!
Sincerely,
Ken

I must disagree, as I don't think we have ever tried to mislead anyone. For me they work exactly the same......
I'm soory that you feel that way.
