Some of those reviews must be pretty old, as the price has been at $129 US for about 18 months. We did have it at $99 for the first few months it was on sale. This was mainly because the unit didn't have great software with it and we wanted people to try it out and give us feedback, which they did. You can look around on the web and find some resellers that have the price less than $129, look on our Resellers page on the trackIR site. We obviously like people to buy direct from us because we get their customer information and can email special offers for new items and accessories, but all in all you get the same unit from a reseller. We do ship within 1 day of the order, as do most of our resellers, but some people just feel better ordering directly from the manufactuer. Hope this info helps, pricing is a touchy subject for sure.

$150 would be well worth it.
I bought mine directly from this website. They had the unit to me within a few days. I ordered it on a Thursday and got it the following Monday. So 4 days is not a bad turn around time at all.
Also: if you order it directly from NP, then they provide you with all the UPS info, and if there are any problems, you are dealing with the company itself and not a middle man.
Scott, the NP rep I talked with about shipping, was very helpful and was able to answer all my questions.
My advice is to order it from NP and not a middle man.
But $130 is well worth the cost. Believe me.

Thanks for the info. I'll just have to wait a little longer to get it that's all... Been out of work for 15 months so it's a tough sell to the wife, but I've wanted one for a long time. Hoping everyone's claims about the new software and integrated FB support are worth it. Regards.

I was really stoked about getting this thing soon. Just waiting for the new driver to come out. I know this probably isn't the best location for this post but when I did my first search on the TrackIR all of the reviews I saw were saying it was $99 (US) and looking now all I see is $130. What happend to the price change?! Up to $100 I was willing but now a $30 increase? I don't get it... is there some coupon I am missing or something?
