TrackIR 4 in FSX - small issue and sugestion

Post by jennik »

Hi all,
thanks for great piece of hardware I can't live without :)

I have no serious issues on using it in any game yet, even if I have Windows Vista 64bit. I only have some personal issue
with FSX using TrackIR and I would like to ask you how to solve it or if it would be solved by you:

When using external camera in FSX, the tracking still works instead of FS9 where it did only in virtual cocpit. Well, I don't really like it. The camera is very sensitive and when it's running around the airplane making fast 360 turns - it's making me feeling bad on my stomach because the movement is reversed left/right and doesn't respond to up/down head movement... Is that possible to solve from inside the settings of FSX or TrackIR software? I would like to use tracking for internal 3D view only, then I'll happy like never before :)

One of the new features of FSX is the expansion of TrackIR into the different view modes. You still have use of the TrackIR in the "Virtual Cockpit" mode, with full 6 DOF support, but this has also been expanded to the other views as well. As always, to disable the TrackIR rotation in the different view modes, just press the F9 key (default) to pause the TrackIR software.

Hi
I would also like to be able to reerse the left and right views in spot view. The way it is seems totaly backwards.
