leaving trackir plugged in.

I noticed that my proclip glows red all the time. My computer setup doesnt allow me to unplug it when not in use. Is leaving my proclip plugged into the usb port going to damage it? or "burn out" the LEDs?

The life span of the IR LEds are rated for about 11 years of constant power, so they should last just fine.......
