New ARENA software 1.1.034 beta available

Hello,

We are pleased to announce a new release of the ARENA motion capture software, version 1.1.034 beta 1 is now available for download!

This release includes support for two actors, improved tracking and the ability to use up to 24 cameras. We hope you enjoy the upgrades.

note : in order to achieve good tracking results, we only recommend using the two actor support with at least 12 cameras.

Birch,

This release seems to take alot long to calculation the calibration(about 50 mins, using slow, 800 pts). Is that expected?

Mark,

I don't think there were any changes to the calibration which would cause it to take longer to process. Is the long calculation time occurring every time you calibrate now?

I only tried it once and I did get a good result at the end, so I don't want to redo it yet. The next time I calibrate I'll compare the times and let you know. Thanks.

FYI, you can always load in a previous calibration file, just save the new one with a different name, you can have several for the same camera config and load whichever one was the best.

Update :

The beta period proceeded smoothly so we are moving the 1.1.034 release of Arena to final with no changes.
