No Device Detected

Post by paulharmer »

Hi there,

I'm running software 4.1.030 on Vista with my new TrackClip pro and all was working well until...it stopped!

Software launches but now can't find the TrackClip (no lights on receiver). When I unplug the USB cable I don't get the familiar sound of hardware being unplugged either.

Have tried re-booting and re-installing the software to no avail. Is there a way I can check the hardware's working in Vista (not very familiar with it yet)?

Or any other ideas?

Thanks!

Are we talking about the TrackIR or just the TrackClip Pro.

Have you tried moving to a different USB port?

Amazing - that's sorted it! Moved the TrackIR to a different port.

If only everything in life was that simple. Thanks for your help.

I have similar kind of problem.. Only thing is that it won't go away even if I reinstall software, plug TrackIR to different usb-port, etc...

When I first installed program it worked, but after I plugged out usb and then replugged it when computer was on (had to change the order of my usb things to get wires going better) the TrackIR software doesn't recognise it anymore.

If I change usb port Windows (Vista 64-bit) says that "installing new device... Device is installed and ready to use", but the TrackIR software just doesn't recognise it...

Removing everuthing and reinstalling all again won't help at all.

Okay..

I have now reinstalled EVERYTHING, including whole Windows Vista 64-bit and it just doesn't work!

I also tried it with my laptop which is having 32-bit XP and in that computer TrackIR software is just saying "configurin" and it keeps saying same thing for hours..

Could it just be that I have Monday version of this TrackIR and it is just broken before I even got a change to try it?
