Will It Ever End

Post by JG52SoraAkuma »

I first tried the early TrackIR series but couldn't handle the motion sickness (sad). Then the TrackIR Pro 3 with Vector Expantion came into play. The rest is history. But using a visor to attach the Track Clip made me look like a card dealer according to my brother. Wise cracks like this always took place when his friends came to hang out. But I must say this device has improved my flight sim ten folds. I have better situational awareness, don't get disorientated that easily now (while dogfighting) and total immersion in every aspect. Then I saw the TrackClip Pro. Purchased one online, got it in about three days (not bad when your living in Hawaii), hooked it up, did some minor adjustments and it works like a charm. BTW I chose the red one, it matches better with my black head set rig. To me this unit looks real high tech.
For once I figured this is the one. No more wise cracks from my brother and his friends. But nooooooo, they say now I look like a Borg Robot from........well you know what show I'm talking about. Will it never end? But at least I don't have to wear the visor anymore. I have retired it to my closet hall of fame. The only thing I will have to get used to is not reaching for my visor after taking off my headset when I'm done playing. You might say that's one less thing I have to keep Track of (pardon the pun).
Fantastic job Natural Point. Keep up the great work. I'm one happy camper. ;)

Great story, thanks for posting! yes, there have been those of us who endured the "dot on head" trip to the store and the strange looks. We used to have a running office joke where nobody told you that you forgot to take the dot off, and you got to figure that out later, the hard way. Of course, the product is more mature now, and perhaps, so are we.

I personally like the Red TrackClip Pro best, looks sharp.
