So after having used a home-built one dot ir tracker (using webcam), I finally coughed up some money to get the real deal; ie the NaturalPoint TrackIR. And I must say...it rocks! It's way smoother than my home-built webcam and it tracks a whole lot better. Worlds apart, imho. And thats only after some 20 mins of fiddling with the settings. Took me ages to just playable results with my own device.

One grief I have tho, and its not really even related to the product per se, is one thing in the manual. The section "4.2 Modes of Operation (Tracking Modes)" does not give away TrackIR as an option. I was actually fiddling around with Dot tracking and Vector tracking until I found the option "Track Clip Pro" to the left". Guess its there to be found, but it could be stated in the manual.
