I thought there was a setting in th software--camera position--where the software would know I have the trackir device at my 9'oclock position.
Also--does 6 DOF only work with the clip--or can I use a dot? The reason I ask--I can't get the clip to face my 9 o'clock position straight. So I've got a hat on, and am using a regular dot--
Thanks for any replies!

Yes, the option is in the settings menu - TrackIR software -> View -> Tracking -> Settings.
6 DOF requires the 3 markers to be used otherwise a single dot option will only allow 2 DOF support. If you recenter the camera, once the hat is on, even if it is a little askew, it should work fine.

HI Vincent,
I'm still having trouble with this--and I really need to use the clip, as I want to take advantage of the 6 DOF. Is there a way to get the clip to be facing my 9 'clock position? And which rotation should I use in that position? Thanks for any reply
