Defective camera - Need help

Post by SeKu »

Hello,

we bought an Optitrack 6 camera system with Arena. We did the system setup the way it is shown on the Optitrack webpage. Our current Arena version is 1.2.034.

Unfortunately we have an error at one of the cameras since 3 days. After a lot of experimentation we think that the shutter speed of this camera is much too slow.

When you look at screenshot #1 you can see the greyscale of one of the 5 cameras which are working well.
At screenshot #2 you can see the greyscale of the defective camera. The image is too bright and the moving marker is shown as a white line.
At screenshot #3 you can see the defective camera when a person is standing about 8' in front of the camera - the body of the person is displayed as a big crowd of white points.

We tried all possible ways to solve the problem. We checked all camera settings in Arena, we re-installed Arena, we checked all the cables, we changed the sequence of the cameras in the camera circle but the problem won't go away.

Do you have any idea of solving the problem?

With the best regards
Sascha SK
