It appears that you can use the Smartnav software with trackIR to get some functionality using mouse mode in x-plane on a mac (see you tube video). Or am I mistaken.. Unfortunately you must fork out $199 for the software.. in addition to what we already paid for track IR. Any way for those who have purchased Track IR's to get the smartnav mac software at for free or a reduced rate? I switched to mac about 3 months ago and really want to use x-plane native on my mac with the track ir...

1 - SmartNAV software is not compatible with the TrackIR devices, it will only work with the SmartNAV line of hardware
2 - The SmartNAV Apple software is developed by a different copy and they set the rates for their product.
