Hello All,
Please help, I just got my new TRACKIR and TRackClip pro, I am running Vista 64 Ultimate, Quad Q6600, EVGA 780I mobo, 24"LCD monitor. I cannot get the signal to be picked up from the Trackclip, when placing the trackIR ontop LCD the signal will only work when I wave my hand in front of it, then will stop. I had to actually place the trackr IR closer to me laying on the desk pointing upwards, and even then, sometimes it will show "No data" tracking, back and forth. I have the TRACK IR plugged into a usb hub on the monitor itself. PLEASE HELP very frustrating...
Regards,
Omar

Re: PLEASE HELP!! JUST GOT TRACKIR W/TRACCLIP PRO
Can you see the IR leds on, when cupping your hand around the Clip Pro?
When looking at the tracking screen, what do you see here?

Yes, the LED's are on, the tracking screen shows the 3 LED's in red, but then green sometimes, and it also shows background lighting depending on lamps on or off in the room. Also, I notice that when I choose tracklip pro in the software, it still defaults to VECTOR, shouldnt it show Trackclip pro on the bottom?
Thank you for the reply!!

No it will still say vector, in the bottom section of the software, as that is an indication of the 3 object tracking.
OK, your main issue is going to be what the camera itself is seeing on the tracking screen. It should be sseing the 3 leds, and nothing else, so removing the background IR is going to be the starting point. You can also adjust the light filtering option, under View -> Tracking -> Settings, and turn up the light filtering to about 200.
