ok first of all really great product. but 2 probs i have found.
1) after i use trackIR if I try to shutdown my pc without having closed the tray icon the proses take around 10 minutes. I have found out that if i pass the reflective dots infront of the trackIR it shuts down instantly. I think windows waits for tackIR to tell that i am ok shut down or something. This doesnt occure if i close trackIR before i do the shutdown.
2) I have added a number of dots on my mic to get the performance I want on my movement. The problem now is that when i get too close to the monitor tackIR turns its box to red, while it still sees the reflective dots. I think the dots get to big for it to spot the center. I sugest tackIR claculates the center of the box at all times and uses that as the center dot.
I am using a P4 with Win XP SP1 Dx 8.1
please i would apresiate any feedback or a solution to the upcamming driver.
Thanks for ur time and really good product.

Re: 2 problems i have found in trackIR
Hello:
Glad you like your trackIR. Have you tried adjusting the object size filters in the tracking menu? That should prevent it from turning red.
We are working on the shutdown problem, should be fixed in the next revision.

As you've probably read, some people here would be keen to be told, how the filters are to be set as the manual doesn't tell us. Would you? Would be nice!!!
Thanks in advance

Re: 2 problems i have found in trackIR
Hello:
Okay, I will be nice
The filters are designed to remove objects that aren't the correct size, meaning that it won't pass the filter tests. Each filter, for horizontal and vertical size have a minimum and maximum setting for how big the dot can be in that direction. The active dot size is displayed at the bottom of the window in pixels. Just adjust the range so that it is comfortable, meaning that the dot is green when you move around. If you have a clean background image then just open the settings up to make sure that the software doesn't lose track of your dot for any reason. Hope this helps.

I can see where the pixel size is shown, but no place do I see where I get to adjust it. I'm using 2.20eg.
