Should come with much bigger dots

My forhead is exactly 25" from the camera and the tiny little dots that it comes with are just too small. Especially on vertical head movements. In order to get really good smooth tracking, I have 6 dots together in a rectangle (w/ aspect ratio off) which creates a 5/8" by 3/8" dot which works pretty well, until I lean back in my chair. (which I do quit often.)

I don't see what harm it would to to provide much larger dots, like say 1/2" round, and I it tracks much better.

The best system I have now is a long billed baseball cap with a target pinned to the end of the bill. But still, using 6 dots to get one big one.

Thanks for this request, it is done! We now have dot sheets that have 20 regular dots, now slightly bigger at .3" each compared to .25" before and 6 super size dots at .5" square. That should make for better tracking.

I have decided that we will introduce reflective markers that are round, or as some like to call them, reflective balls. Look for them around the end of the year.

PLEASE release the balls ASAP.

Really, I reckon a soft sphere about .25-.3" diameter would be the best addition to your product.

I assume you/we would mount them on a pin?

Thanks for your support Jim. I went to your online store and didn't see where i could buy these super size dots. Could you please point me in the right direction? ty.

I also have another question, does 3m make a reflective paint? I'd love to get ahold of some and just paint the end of my mike boom.

I sit about 2.5 ft from the TrackIR unit and one of the new square dots folded over the brim of the TrackHAT works perfect for me.

I dont see why some people have issues with the dots and want larger ones.

I dont think the problem is with the dot.

What problems are you experiancing that you think the size of the dot will fix?
