Arena firing up randomly...

Post by ncarter »

Hey All,
I am having a really hard time getting Arena to fire up consistently. Version 1.3.035. I have the latest arena software installed off the website and I verified that the device manger is seeing all the cameras. I can get the software to fire up and error out when I have all the cameras unplugged. But it gives me the no license found error. When everything is plugged in the software is running in the task manger at about 20,000K -30,000K but never pops up. It seems like rebooting multiple times sometimes fixes this problem. Once the software runs the system works fine. Please help! Thanks, Nick

How many cameras are you using?

How many hubs?

How many cameras per hub?

Have you tried reseting the power on the hubs, before starting the Arena software?

Hey Vincent,
I am running a eight camera system with two hubs. Six cameras to one and two cameras to the other.
I will try resetting the power on the hubs now...Nick

Arena is firing up now but seems to hang for sometime before firing up with no input to the user that it has not crashed. It would be nice to have some type of splash screen telling the user the system is progressing with the load. Number of cameras, processes, ect.

Thanks for the quick response and I will repost if this is not the only problem. Thanks, Nick

I would also look at moving the cameras to more of 4/hub.
