This is the 3rd version I have owned and never had this problem before. Using FSX after about 20 minutes I lose the ability to turn my head (yaw). All other motions work fine. When I Alt-tab back to the TrackIr program, I notice that the "view heads" display is no longer visible, and I have to restart the program to get it to work again. My software is up-to-date, and it doesn't do this in Lomac. I have my recentre view on my Saitek Flight Yoke, and this only started about a month again.
Specs:
Win XP Pro SP3, 680i Mobo, e6850 CPU, 2G Corsair Dominator RAM, 8800GTX, PC Power and Cooling SLI 850w PSU, Seagate Barracuda 320G HDDD.
TrackIR loses yaw in FSX
Re: TrackIR loses yaw in FSX
When this happens, what do you see on the Tracking screen?
Plugged into a hub, or directly to the PC?
Have you tried turn off any kind of power save feature for your USB ports?
In the "Device Manager" you can right click the "USB Root Hub"(s), that show, and then select properties. On the power management tab, uncheck the box that allows the computer to turn off the USB port to save power (i.e. uncheck the box). Sometimes that has an impact on the connectivity of the devices.
