No Data /Tracking

Post by hamltnblue »

Within the last week I've been experiencing jerky video in Aces High II. I've tried several things to fix. I just notice in the Track IR set-up screen that the status monitor on the bottom right flickers between No data and Tracking. My head is about 2 feet from the monitor. A wierd thing is that If I move my head to about 1 foot or back to 3 foot it stops flickering. The tracking screen shows 3 led's from my track clip with noting else in the window at all distances. Any idea's what is going on?
hardware includes E6700 processor on a Asus P5B motherboard, GTX 260 video card, 2 gig of DDR-2 ram. Trackclip is on it's own USB port.
Thanks

Another Note. I just updated to the latest version last week as well. Is there a place where I can download the previous version to see if it helps?

You can download older versions of the software, on the downloads page.

Are you connected directly to the PC, or are you using a hub of some kind?

All 3 leds are green, no red?

Yes the Trackir is connected directly to the PC, and the Trackclip is powered from a hub. Tracking screen shows 3 green led's and no red. I've been using it since about april/may with no problems.

When you updated the software, did you change the profiles to reflect the TrackClip Pro, or leave them at the default settings of Vector?

I Selected trackclip pro. Since last post I turned off Camera LED's which made it better. I then unclicked light filtering and blue led in the tracking settings and so far it appears to have cleared.
