I always fly VC in FSX, but even though I have TrackIR set for a centered null-zone, I end up chasing the + or - with my head when activating buttons, switches etc. So I get pretty cramped up in my neck trying to hold still when activating stuff in the cockpit.
My wish for christmas would be a patch that would make the cursor stick to the button, then you could more easily get the right selection. And it would enable you to look away, while still having your hand on the button, activating it when you got your visual cue.
Can it be done?
Needed: Sticky buttons in VC
Re: Needed: Sticky buttons in VC
Hi there.
I used to have the same neck cramping problem.
My personal workaround was to assign the pause function of the TIR to the third button of the mouse. Now I just point to the control I want to change, press down the wheel of the mouse, TIR pauses, do whatever I need and press the wheel again.
I hope it helps.

Not sure it is doable, within the SimConnect features of FSX
