Greater Speed Control

I would like to see more latitude in the speed control under motion. I like the cursor to move slower in resonse to my head movement. Trouble is when the speed is set to 15 or less the cursor "hangs" or get very sluggish when going right to left or left to right. The smoothing slider causes a very mushy and unresponsive felling so I leave it at 50. I would like to slow down the response not the erratic movements.
