Hello
I am setting up a 12 camera system in a 20' x 19'/6" space (14' height.
I searched the forums and not clear on the optimal camera height/position.
I can go up to 14' high for the top camera though is that recommended ? Most people seem to say 10' ish though I can go higher.
Any tips on both of the camera hieght would be great thanks.

We have our upper cameras setup at 10' high, with the lower cameras set at 2'-3' lower.
In the case of a lower ceiling, you can set them up at 8', with the lower cameras at 5-6', but this wouldn't apply in your case.

I agree with Vince, going much over 10-11' will not help your capture volume, as your cameras will just be further away from the actor and that distance will result in less tracking range from the camera.
The overall space of 20' square is good and you should get a good capture volume with 12 cameras, probably 10' square.
