Upgrade SmartNav3 to SmartNav4 Procedures

I currently use a SmartNav3 and received a SmartNav4 for Christmas. There are no instructions for an upgrade. I can't find anything on NturalPoint's Website. Do I have to remove and uninstall SmartNav3 then install 4 as a new install?

That would be the safest thing to do:

1) download the latest software and drivers
2) uninstall the SmartNav software
3) unplug the SmartNav 3
4) install the new software
5) plug-in the SmartNav 4

Obviously, if you're a person with a disability (like I am) you will want to have an able-bodied person nearby during this process to help.

Surely this is a FAQ and should be in the manual.

It's not mentioned in the manual and I went through the FAQs before I posted the question. It appears you don't have a SmartNav4 or you would have known it's not in the manual.
