I'm not a huge fan of the hat clip and I feel like I'm not getting the best use of my awesome TrackIR. So I've been looking into the TrackClip. Does anyone have experience using it with this headset:

I still can't figure out how this thing works when you turn your head to the left, but by all accounts the TrackClip seems pretty awesome.
Also, has anyone ever tried building their own TrackIR head mount, maybe some lights on an existing headset? I ask because to be perfectly honest the price of the TrackClip is pretty steep for what it is. Just curious if the do-it-yourselfers have come up with anything.
Works well with Logitech ClearChat Pro?

I haven't used the TCP with that headset in particular, but I think it should work fine with it. Just be sure to adjust the clip to the larger setting.
To accommodate the fact that it's on the left side of your head, you can move your TrackIR to the left side of the monitor. This should address your concern about turning left.
