The ball joint on my TIR4 unit that sits on the monitor has gotten "sloppy" - won't stay where it's put. The weight of the cord has a tendency to tilt it up which renders it uneless.
Is there a way to tighten up that joint?
Thanx,

mechanical issue - TIR4

Hmm, probably no way to tighten it up in the field. You could strain relief the cable on your monitor in some fashion, so it doesn't pull on it? If you are out of warranty, you could open it up and just clean the two o-rings that hold it in position, maybe they have gotten slick over time? Sorry to hear about the issue.

The strain relief seems to be the best bet. I taped the cord to one of the legs and it's resolved the issue. Something tat the design people might want to think about though.
Thanx for the heads up -
