Well, there is no official support, as Windows 7 is still a beta application.

The latest TrackIR software has been installed, and seems to function properly.

Thank you for your response. I should have been more sppecific; I am getting an error installing TrackIR_4.1.036 on the Windows 7 64 bit edition Beta. I realize the OS is in Beta and that it is not at all reasonable to expect instant driver production. TrackIR is an important part of my system so I am hoping to get any info I can. I will dual boot if I have to in order to keep TrackIR. I have posted specifics of my issue below. Thanks for your time and your product.

I have tried Vista and XP compatability modes but it always fails. The error when doing a straight install of the driver is "TrackIR_4.1.036 is not a vaild Win32 application"

When running with Windows 7 compatability troubleshooter using XP or Vista for the OS the error is:

For what it's worth, I have not had any other 32 bit application or driver issues on this system.

Sounds like you have some data corruption in the file you downloaded?

What is the file size?

Bingo - Issue resolved. Thanks Vincent!.

The driver I had downloaded was only 117kb, far short of the 3.9MB listed, I should have caught that. None the less, TrackIR is running great in Windows 7 64 bit!

Thanks NaturalPoint from a loyal customer.
