I have a Simpit, and want to install TIR in it and need to know how tall / wide the component is. I have a space above my monitor that is 4 inches tall, where I want to mount it.

TrackIR fully extended is around 2 3/4" high and around 4 1/4 wide, so it should fit in your system quite easily.
