I've searched the forums for an answer to my problem but the only solutions I've found are for every OS except Vista. I get the Error Number: 0x80040707 with no description just like others have experienced with XP. I found one registry entry missing and added it as best I could because the values(targets) are not written the same in Vista as for XP, 98, NT etc. Please help!!!!! Over $200 in hardware and it's completely usless on my home computer.....the software installs fine on my computer at work but my boss won't let me fly all day on his payroll....haha.

Well, it could be several thing.

Have you tried running the software install as an admin?

Are you logged in as an admin?

Try copying the installed TrackIR folder, from the other system, to the Vista system.
