Re: Thinking of buying Optitrack system, please advise
Bryan,
Sorry for the late response, let me ask you this. Do you reposition your markers each and everytime you put on the suit? Or do you just adjust the suit so the markers are in the right place each time you put it on? (I do the first so not to have to create a new skeleton EVERY time I mocap)
Maybe I am doing it the wrong way(?)
Thanks for the response.
PS: I wish there was a "notify me when there's a response to this post" option. I never know when I get a response (hence the late replies on my behalf!)

Koan
I don't take the markers off the suit, as I'm the only one that wears it, but I do create a skeleton every time I mocap, since there are subtle variations on the position of the markers.. and it doesn't really take all that much time (you get used to it after a while)
And since I have my cameras fixed statically on the wall, I don't have to do a camera calibration each time (as can happen when you use tripods, unless they are VERY stable)
hope this helps, and you can always email me at bryan@kkstudio.us

Bryan,
Thanks. I will try that - I see your point regarding the position of the markers... I'm sure that will work.
Thanks Again. It's appreciated.
