What am I doing wrong/Is this unusual?
The "TrackIR Mouse Emulation" feature sounds very useful. I start up the programme and my mouse zips around the screen at the whim of my head quite happily. However, when I actually try to use it in conjunction with a game, the mouse no longer moves due to head movement. In fact, the mouse never moves (due to head movement) except when the "TrackIR Mouse Emulation" programme or the TrackIR main control panel is the active window. So how can I use it to control a mouse inside a game, when being inside a game would mean that the window focus would not be on the mouse emulation application.
Thanks in advance for any help.

What gaming application are you looking to use the device with?
Does the application support Direct Input?

How can i use in windows with other windows on top?
Re: Mouse Emulator???
The mouse emulation is desgned to be used only within a gaming application, not the Windows desktop.
For desktop support, please look at the SmartNAV product line.

5.6.3 Using Mouse Emulation in Games
The basics are as follows:
Load the TrackIR software.
Load the TIRMouse.EXE file that is located in your TrackIR installation folder. C:\Program Files\NaturalPoint\TrackIR for example.
Load the game you wish to use and be sure to have the mouse look option enabled within the game.
With mouse look turned on you should be able to use the TrackIR now.
NOTE: Some games may not have a mouse look option!
