My first post here. I have the TR4 and TrackClipPRO and I have to admit, ever since I started using it, I actually don't like flying (FSX) without it anymore.
But, I wanted to let you know of a "little" problem I've just discovered regarding this product.
Like many, I was getting rather tired of all the prompting from UAC whenever I do something with my machine, so I turned it off.
However, a little while later when I next flew FSX, my TrackIR was all over the place. The head would not turn properly. I went through all the troubleshooting - daylight blockout, reloading drivers, etc - all to no avail.
Then I remembered I turned off UAC a little while back. Turned it back on and, Voila!, its all good. 
I thought well, ok, if the drivers are installed with UAC on, maybe it needs UAC on to work properly. So, on my next refresh (reinstall everything from scratch), I turned off UAC before installing anything. Same problem, same fix. It's a bit of a bummer when, out of all the other apps, games and drivers I have installed, only TR4 wants UAC on and that spoils the running of my other FSX addons.
Does anybody have any suggestions as to how to make TR4 work with UAC off?
