Optitrack cameras and humidity

Post by ratamorph »

Hello, I was wondering how resistent if any are optitrack cameras when it comes to humidity.

We got our studio setup in a basement which is a bit humid, we've been using dehumidifiers and silica gel bags to get the humidity down, but I was wondering how much more do I have to worry about the issue.

Thanks in advance.

We haven't done any extensive testing, but they should be fine in regards to the environment (similar to the PC that you are using).

Thanks for the reply, my worries are more about the lens in the cameras rather than the electronics, but when I think about it there's bound to be a few people like us with their mocap studio in the basement since it's a very suitable place for it (humidity aside).
