TrackIR4 Install

Thanks to Snomhf for the great tutorial.We must be dumb after 2 days of trying all we have is a headache and sore ears. trying both IR Clip and vector.Hooked direct to system. Good install. Camera has Y-B- and 4 red dots. Can't seem to center 3 green unless turn 90 degrees away from monitor (22 Samsung).No red dots on screen. Moved camera rt 7 left. FSX used as default. Can get intermittent full vision in cockpit except for seeing gauges. Have to tilt head down to floor otherwise only top of inst. panel.Have unchecked X & Z as suggested to get our "training wheels" than add later. Spent 2 weeks reading the forums etc.Thought we could master not so easy.Updated to current software.

OK -

First off, you should only see 3 green dots, never any red ones, if you are then you may have other IR sources within the field of view

When switching between the TrackClip, and the TrackClip Pro, are you changing the profiles to either vector or TrackClip Pro repectively within the differnet profiles?

Are youusing the F12 keyt to recenter the view, once in the VC?

Thanks for your response. No light problems. Only green no red. My problem is getting them in the center of the screen like shown on Snomhf's illustration. Changing profiles comes difficult to me. Not sure all this fine tuning is confusing. Thought I could use the FSX default and elimanate some of the changes. Maybe misunderstood the procedure. Yes do use the F12 key but still have minimum panel showing.If I look down to the floor I get a full panel as soon as I look up all I see is Blue sky or top of cockpit. Snomhf's tutorial is the best I found but I still get in trouble with the set up. Camera is 3" from left side of monitor. If I have to will just use the hat clip and forget about the Track Clip.

Still having problems. Installed new Beta SW today thought that might help. Computer frooze. It seems that things were not moving well, My machine was flying everywhere but Natural Point. I'm sure that with everybody using IR it's a great product just a "bear' to set up.If somebody knows a simple way to get started and than go from there would appreciate knowing it. Thanks.
