TrackIR software won't start anymore

Hi,

During the past few months there has been a noticeable delay between when I click the icon for the TrackIR software and when it actually starts up. Over time this delay has grown longer and become increasingly annoying. It now takes several minutes for the TrackIR software to start after I click the icon. I've tried reinstalling but to no avail. I've also tried running the software as an administrator, but it causes the software to not work with any of my games.

I'm running Windows Vista 64-bit with a Core i7 940 CPU and 6 GB of Corsair Dominator RAM.

Can someone tell me what I might be able to do to fix this problem? It's very annoying; any help is appreciated.

I'd recommend taking a look at the profiles directory of your TrackIR 4.x software install. If you see any which are larger than 10k, try moving those to a different folder and see if that resolves the issue.
