metal trackclip top tracker not working properly

i have noticed that the top of my metal trackclip doesnt seem to reflect properly anymore , seems like the cat got to it and chewed on it a bit .

is there anyway to fix this by your yourself or do i need to buy an replacement clip?

also , has one1 found a way to use the trackclip pro without a headset and has this documented somewhere ?
