Camera detection

Post by la237359 »

I've just started setting up an 8 camera system. In Arena, when I select the cameras, all 8 seems to be detected. However, when I go to calibrate 4 of the 8 camera views seem turned off. The 'time', 'frame id', 'fps' section is inactive and the viewport is greyed out. The inactive cameras are the lower cameras but they do not share the same usb hub. I have had this problem with an upper camera earlier but it just started working again for no reason. Is this something that happens regularly for others?

Also, arena often crashes my computer. I have a brand new top of the line hp laptop. I have to reboot my computer several times to get everything functioning. Often times, my wacom tablet, mouse, keyboard stop working. There seems to be some interference with my drivers.

Anyone have similar issues?

Cycling computer power, USB power on the hubs, as well as camera connections.
