View falls into lap

Post by nillefix »

Hi,
I have a problem.
More recently my view "falls into my lap" (FS 9), or suddenly zooms in a panel, and I have to re-center the view, counted five times just during final approach. Kinda annoying...
I have no idea what's going on.
Anybody have an idea.

Best regards/

Looking at the tracking screen, what do you see here?

It's all black and three green dots.
I'm wearing glasses and is it possible that momentary reflections could cause this?
Read somewhere, that if you made TrackIR a higher priority in the Taskmanager, some of this could go away.
Could the TrackClip Pro be the solution?

Well the clip pro, will be using active LEDS, so the camera LEds will be turned off, and you shouldn't get reflections from glasses.

When this erratic tracking occurs, what do see occuring on the tracking screen, dots, being lost, extra objects being tracked?

The tracking screen is totally black with three green dots when the view "falls", like my head drops(hypoxia?). The only disturbance I have seen is a tiny, tiny red dot where my glasses are located. Tried flying without glasses, same there, view "falls". When the view "falls" I have to recenter the view with F12, but when the view zooms I just have to look up and the view recenters itself. The room I sit in is completely darkened.
It happens almost only when I don't move my head around, like focusing on approach or programming the fmc or another instrument. Seems almost like it's "resetting" itself kind of, but instead of centre itself it goes to lower left or right, you know what I mean? =)

I'm totally lost here.

Will try TrackClip Pro later(ordered).
