Vista Login Screen not supported

I can not get the SmartNav program to work when I am logged off the Vista system and the Login screen is up. Since SmarNav is not running, a user has no way of logging into the system at start-up.
I work in a corporate environment that requires user logon access on an Active Directory network domain.

In addition, even when you are logged on as a user but locked your session (i.e. Windows L), the device is non-responsive. The only way to unlock the session is by using a standard mouse...
