Internal Failure 0x80040707

Heya

I just got my TrackIR 5 today and when i was trying to instal the software i got this error Internal Failure 0x80040707.

I already search for a solution but nothing seems to work.

my OS is Vista 64 bit

Hi Gloigan,

I believe that's an issue with Install Shield. Try installing the most current version:

thanks for the quick reply.

I tried that but it doesnt seem to help.
I did remove it first and then i installed it.

Edit: test the software on a mates pc with the same OS and it works fine, im going to format my pc ( been a while ) and see how it goes.

Also you could just copy the installed TrackIR folder, from your friends PC.

I tried that but didnt work for me.

BUT! i just formatted my pc and first thing i tried was installing trackIR and it worked!

so i can test out my new product
