Arma2 not working

hi,
I have just upgraded profiles list: Arma2 sees TrackIR, yet it does not work (the device works perfectly in Windows, FSX, RichardBurnsRally)

I have tried to install 5.04 beta software, there the device is not recognized at all, so I reverted to 4.1037

any hints?

weird thing: on first launch of Arma2, TiR4 blue light wouldn't turn on: I exited the game, launched FSX (just for TiR4 checking), reentered Arma2 (without doing anything): there the blue light came on, and the device worked

Within ArmA 2 - Under Options -> Controls -> Controller, and make sure the TrackIR is enabled
