Weird issue - Selecting text in Word

Hi,

Wonderful product (smartnav at) and this is my first post. I use a regular mouse and my finger to click, but can't move my hand so exclusively use the smartnav to move the cursor.

Everything works fine, except for some reason in MS Word (i have office 2007) when i try to click and drag to select text the cursor doesn't move, or extremely slowly it may jerk from one position to another. It's weird because this behavior only occurs in Word, which happens to be a mission critical program for me.

It almost seems like smartnav needs a higher system priority when i'm in Word. Again, the cursor moves fine except when i'm holding the mouse clicker down in Word.

The first thing I would suggest would be to try turning the mouse override delay to 0.0 in the behaviour tab of the SmartNav device software.
