Hello Aidle,

Mouse clicking is not available in the TrackIR software.

For desktop navigation we have our SmartNAV line of products and accessories. The SmartNAV can help people in a wide range of situations, from those who are looking to alleviate repetitive strain injuries to those who are currently unable to use a computer. Our product is a powerful, hands-free mouse alternative that allows a user to have complete control of a computer using only their head motion. The SmartNAV product line offers an ideal solution for anyone seeking an alternative or supplement for a standard mouse or keyboard.

Grr-I know it's just the laws of marketing but you had to have gripes about making a separate more expensive product just specially for a smaller market with disabled people and RSI victims.

Is less expensive and has so many more features

Hello,

With the SmartNAV Hands Free Mouse you can use TrackIR software for playing games. When you purchase a SmartNAV you get the best of both worlds.

With the SmartNAV you get the value of having a hands free mouse and ultimate gaming accessory (with all the features of the TrackIR3 Pro) in one package.

While there may be physical similarities, there are many differences between the two units, differences which have been discussed at length in this forum.

Please check out this thread for more information : http://forums.naturalpoint.com/cgi-bin/ ... 4;t=000081

NaturalPoint has been dedicated to providing affordable assistive and adaptive technology since its beginning and continues to do that today. If you are not familiar with our competitors offerings in the assistive technology market check out our competitor breakdown here: http://www.naturalpoint.com/smartnav/pr ... itors.html

You will notice we are several factors less expensive than our competitors in the assistive technology market and provide the best value.

I was probably being fussy, but one of the main problem is how to use trackIR and smartnav in tandem-

at the moment, everytime I switch between TrackIR and smartnav to see how it would be possible to play a game I have to close each program and unplug USB because smartnav.exe hangs in processes. Then when I configure anything in TrackIR I don't really have access to the rest of my computer because mouse mode is disabled except in TrackIR application, all of which makes getting ready to play a game real tricky. They would be nice to be able to have access to full mouse mode within TrackIR by having the smartnav hardware.

I'm just trying to figure out track map at the moment but the above thing makes it really tough, I can't imagine what it's like for someone with real disabilities.
