Add new profile problem

Just installed trackIR5 software on vista. Try to create new profile and when give it a name it says profile name is not valid. please use only alphanumeric characters, any ideas. Have used for long time in xp no problem so know how to do it.
Strange, something silly probably, already did uninstall, clean registry, reinstall with no difference.

What are you trying to name the profile?

It doesn't matter matter what i try to use for name, even simple alpha character, it's a strange one. Like I said I do this on my xp system just fine.

Just did uninstall, clean reg, reinstall again and same thing. Even if use NewProfile name already in box still get same error message. very strange indeed.

Very odd, so this occurs even if you leave thwe name to the default new name?

Yes even with the default new name. All works fine on my xp boot side but not my vista boot side. I live just up road from you in salem. My son and I come your direction sometimes to play disc golf at willamette and camp adair. Would like to post two screen shots I took but am missing something on how to attach them to message. Is there a way I am missing? Thanks for your response and in such a timely matter over a trivial problem no one else sees. I like your products and support seems excellent, thank you. Gonna try to install version 4 software on vista side and see what happens.

And just to add to confusion version 4 software vista works fine, add profiles just fine. Vista side version 5 profile nameing problems appears as described. Will send screen shot if you can tell silly me how. Again, thanks for resonse and effort given.
