I found this free utility that disables (pauses) automatically the TrackIR in FSX spot view.

The web page is in french but the interface can be set to english.
To download you need to register first, by clicking the "T�l�charger JAB_FSX" button.
You might find it too on http://avsim.com, http://flightsim.com but I did not check.
