Exchange policy ? As mines borked.

Post by Stilton »

I think i got my trackIR/track clip pro before christmas and its broken in 2 places...

i cant even be bothered to explain how it got broken, because personally i feel its inconsequential, there are 2 really thin joints that pop out when they want to, both these places are loose now, after owning it for this short amount of time.. Also, one joint has been bound up with selotape as of the 2 -tiny and easy to break- legs that hold it in place, only 1 remains..

I can't really be bothered to write anymore, ill just say that i do feel slightly worried about the TrackIR in general, if the TrackClipPro is any indication of the overall build quality...

cheers

I just want to say that I have add mine for just a few short months and appears to have broken in the same spot as the poster above. The two plastic "clips" that snap to hold the swivel arm section together(sorry, I'm sure you have no idea what part I am talking about), broke when I tried to snap them back together. These seem to pop off numerous times throughout gameplay.

I will contact customer support as you suggest. Nice product as I enjoy it very much but I think that is the weakest part in the design.

Best regards,

An email was sent, on the 14th, requesting more information (camera serial number). Unfortunately we have not received a response.

Can you check your junkmail folder?

[ Apologies for the late reply by the way, busy with important real life stuff - not to imply getting this fixed isnt important to me ;) ]

No, nothing in the junk email folder, from the begining of time.. But ill just assume it got lost in the tubes.

More importantly, where is the camera serial number on the device? as if its on the box - that's in the bin..

^ I asked the above in my original email, which had a picture of the broken TrackClipPro.. but as i didnt get a reply, ill hope you answer in here.

Also, why do you want the Cam serial number, the cam works perfectly... ..and id have a hard time using the TrackClipPro without a camera? surely?

@Clutch - I think i DO know which parts you are talking about exactly, as those bits are one of the places where mine broke.

The serial number helps us track the device (where it was purchased, and if purchased directly thru us, allows us to generate an RMA number for replacement.

Email sent to address in original email, as well as the address you used when creating your forum account.
