Trackir software does not relaunch after leaving IL2???

Hello all,
Just a nuisance problem..
Software works fine and runs everything works in game (I use in IL2).
When I exit game the software has minimized into the task bar and will not again open. If I click it a window message pops up saying something like "Another instance of the TrackIR software is already running".
I have to open the task manager to get to close the program and then restart.
This is a pain when I am trying to adjust settings...
Any ideals?
I think this is a Windows problem, I am running in Win7

When the software icon is minimized, if you right click on the icon, on the taskbar, does it give you a restore option?
