TrackIR snaps to extreme rear view (>160 degrees) when true head angle exceeds +55-60 degrees in pitch.
I'm sorry if this is an obvious problem, but I'm all out of ideas. The problem is visible in the Track IR configuration software and no adjustment to settings or the position of the track-clip pro seems to help.
Thanks,

Camera mounted to the left-side of the monitor, with the TCP centered within the camera view?
Are the green LED points crossing over each other , within the camera view?

Re: TrackIR snaps to extreme rear view when looking up
Yes the camera is mounted at the lower left-hand side of the monitor. In a relaxed position all three TCP lights appear in the first two boxes of the upper-lefthand side (Y=0 to X=+120 | X=0 to X=-50).
There is a spot (when looking up and left) where the lights cross each other. However, this isn't the source of the problem: The problem happens regardless of how far I'm looking to the left or right when I raise my head. Furthermore, the LED on the Track IR unit stays lit up the whole time, including during the snap (whereas the LED switches off when the lights cross over each other).
Any ideas?

Lower left hand side of the monitor?
Is it even, same height, as the TrackCLip Pro?

Re: TrackIR snaps to extreme rear view when looking up
I repositioned the unit to be above the TCP. Everything now works.
I'd originally had it about fifteen centimetres above head level (at the top of the monitor), but there were FOV limitations as the unit wasn't angled downward. I've also solved this by angling the unit.
Thank you, It works wonderfully.
