TRACK IR not working on FSX demo

I recently installed FSX demo on both xp and win 7 (64 bit both) and track IR does not work on either install. I've run both programs as admin, checked for suggestions on the board on how to make it work but nothing seems to help. Any ideas? i'm assuming it should work on the demo but nothing. Lights are on, it works fine on other games, just not for FSX. Any help appreciated!

Actually there is no support for the TrackIR, within the FSX Demo. The demo has been highly modified, from the base application(took a 16GB game, and reduced the size to 700MB. When they reduced the applications size, they also removed large parts of the code, which the TrackIR and other devices use, to work directly within FSX.

ahhh, that explains it, thanks for the response. I guess I'll have to decide if FSX is worth it without trying the IR first.
