FSX TIR5 prevent 2D cockpit movement

Post by maredzki »

Is there a way to prevent moving the screen in 2D? It is very annoying when you have a static 2D cockpit and the outside is moving around. I would like that disabled if possible like it was in FS9.

Please advise.

You can pause the software, using the F9 key (default setting), to stop the TrackIR from effecting your view.

Vincent,
I agree and was aware of this option, but then when you move between 2D and 3D views, doesn't the view get off center? I.e. in 3D I pause, then go to 2D, if the 3D was paused off center, it will appear off center in 2D?

Cheers for help!

If this is a concern for you, you can recenter your view (F12 by default) before you pause and move to the 2D cockpit.
